You have choices to make, here are some alternatives: 1)Fresh install, run a wire to router, you get an ip address and dns nameservers automatically, run update-manager, then from the menu system/ administation/ additional drivers, select Broadcom B43 driver (All this does is install the pacakge firmware- b43-installer (putting the firmware files into /lib/firmware/ b43-open), the b43 driver is already present). ![]() Try the open source drivers and firmware will work for you. Avoid the Broadcom STA driver and ndiswrapper. You need to supply the firmware for your broadcom wireless chip.
